Health and Wellbeing

Through purposeful brands, we support consumers to stay healthy, live well and feel empowered to improve their health. We address issues that matter to consumers and society, including reducing stigma around sensitive health areas and promoting prevention and self-care through education and accessible information.

Environment

We aim to contribute to a climate-positive future by operating within the limits of the planet and its resources. This means taking responsibility across ourvalue chain, including how materials are sourced, products are manufactured and transported and how packaging is designed for recycling. Step by step, we’re reducing the environmental impact of our products and operations.

Fair Society

We want to contribute toa fair, equal and inclusive society as a responsible employer and throughout our value chain. This includes making sure our own workforce feels empowered and engaged; that everyone feels they can be themselves at work and that we give equal opportunities to all. The same ethical standards apply to our suppliers and business partners.

Our Approach

Karo’s priority is to focus first on our most significant impacts, and where we have the biggest opportunity to create change. We look to base our strategy and targets on the latest science. For example, our Greenhouse Gas (GHG) reduction targets are, as a minimum, in line with the Paris Agreement and have been validated by the Science Based Targets initiative. We’ve also considered the UN Sustainable Development Goals, with our core business closely linked to Goal number 3, Good Health and Wellbeing.
